“The Waves (colors)” is a 3-page typewritten work compiling chronologically the 675 colors mentioned in Virginia Woolf’s “The Waves”, divided in sections corresponding to the nine chapters of the novel. Functioning as an enigmatic formula, the work dreams up the colors shaping the events and relationships of a lifetime. -

Print on billboard, 390x260cmContribution to ‘Lunar Practices’, a project initiated by B09K in Changsha, China, for which they invite an artist to present a billboard at each new moon cycle. The billboard features a close-up detail of the script’s second chapter of “The Waves (colors)”, and was on display from June 6th to July 4th, 2024.
