Inspired by and borrowing symbolism from the slow-paced cinema of Tsai Ming-liang or Apichatpong Weerasethakul, the series of “Scenarios” displays enlarged film script pages, but emptied of their narrative content. Only retained are the directing and editing indications or scene headings—a river by day here, a street corner by night there—transferred on the paper with the use of a letter press. Physically cutting the exhibition space into narrative instalments while investigating our shared sensorial memory, the emptiness of each “Scenario” offers a frame to daydream and reminisce in.
